Most of you who are playing with friends would want to switch channel to meet with your friends, there is a tutorial quests to teach you in the game but here is how to switch channel before reaching the tutorial.
You could only change channel in Izlude Island, you could access Izlude Island from the middle right-hand side of the South Gate.
After reaching Izlude, you would need to go to the middle top of the map as shown.
Then, click the "Channel Teleporter" in front of the giant blue portal.
You'd then be prompt to key in the channel you'd like to switch to, simply key in a number and click change line. It will be free for the first time and you'll be charged on second time onwards.
Sidenote: notice the word "EN" at the middle top, it is the region where you are playing. You could also switch to other region with other language speaking players here.
