Equipment Enchantment is another feature for players to "strengthen" your equipment, or well, gaining additional stats. If you've played MapleStory, it will be similar with "cube system".
There are THREE types of enchantment in the game:
1) Basic
2) Intermediate
3) Advanced
Equipment enchantment can be done at Geffen. You could find the cat NPC at the upper left side of Geffen (or you could "use" your friendship proof and it will auto-walk there).
For each of the Enchantment, there will be a series of quests to be completed before you could unlock the feature.
1) Basic Enchantment
Basic enchantment is the simplest form of enchantment, it would only costs some zeny to roll the enchantment (5,000 or 10,000 zeny depending on the equipment).
Most of the time, it will gives you TWO stats (with low probability of getting THREE).
You could re-enchant as much as you want until you get a satisfied result. It is recommended to use this enchantment for low tier equipment.
2) Intermediate Enchantment
Intermediate enchantment would require a certain amount of zeny plus a certain items. Intermediate enchantment will always give you THREE stats, and the stats are usually higher than those of basic (still depend on your luck xD). Use this for medium tier equips.
For weapon and armor, you would need Mora Coins. For headwear, you would need either Oracle Dust or Oracle Crystal.
You could purchase the materials required for enchantment through the same NPC. There is a daily limit of purchase for Oracle Dust and Crystal, but Mora Coin is unlimited purchase with Friendship Proof.
3) Advanced Enchantment
Advanced enchantment could be unlocked at level 70, completed all the quests given by the NPC to unlock it (it requires 3 light granule, 3 star crumbs and 3 parts).
Similar to Intermediate enchantment, it will gives you THREE stats, will low probability of getting the FOURTH stats. The costs (zeny and materials) of advanced enchantment is a lot higher than intermediate but the stats which you could get is also higher. It is recommended to use this for late to end game equips.
To get the fourth stats, you will have to be really lucky. Getting the fourth stats would make your equipment worth a lot more zeny than normal ones.
When you insert your equipment, there is a letter "i" at the lower mid of your screen. Click the "i" to get a glimpse about the possible stats that you could get for the specific equipment.
