As I've mention in my past post "How to Trade", there is a special gifting features to allows you to give item or equipment to other person.
Gifting is only available when you made an in-game purchase. After you've made an in-game purchase, you will be given an item "Big Cat Credit Card" in your bag. To check your Credit, simply use the Credit Card.
For every 1 Zeny purchased, you will be given 1 Big Cat Coin Credit.
For every Premium purchased, you will be given 500,000 Big Cat Coin Credit.
The Credits will lasts for 30 days after the purchase.

1) In order to Gift, you will need to buy the item/equipment from exchange.
2) At the Exchange History, you will be given a choice to Gift or Claim the item.
3) Click Gift and you will be prompt to select a person from your friend list.
4) Click the name of your friend and make sure he/she is online.
5) A NPC will send your Gift to that person and the Gifting is done.
After Gifting, your credit will decrease depending on the price of the item gifted.
For example, if you buy an Imperial Shield for 800k Zeny, your Credit will subtract by 800k points after gifting.
*There is a minimal gifting of 100k Zeny worth of item.
**You could not gift anything that is worth more than your credit.
